Surgeries allow constituents an opportunity to raise concerns with Helen in person. No appointment is necessary: you can just turn up.
You may find it useful to read about what an MP can do before attending a surgery.
If you are unable to come to a surgery you can still contact Helen by post, phone or email, and it may be advantageous to write to Helen prior to attending a surgery in order to give advance notice of the issues you would like to raise.
If your case is urgent then you can telephone Helen’s constituency office on 01388 603075 to speak to her caseworker. The office is open between 9am and 5pm.
Please note that there are steps to the front door but we have easy access at the rear of the office. If you need to arrange access or have any special requirements so that we can ensure that we can support you during your visit please contact the Constituency Office on 01388 603075.
If you are unable to visit the office due to disability or impaired mobility then we can arrange home visits. We do not currently have an induction loop audio system but with notice we can provide this for meetings and surgeries. We also provide large print copies where possible.
Helen also holds regular ‘street surgeries’ where she visits a particular area of the constituency and provides a further opportunity for people to discuss any issue of concern. If you would like a street surgery in your area then please contact the Constituency office on 01388 603075.
